When do you find out how you're doing?
For a lot of owners, it's once a year, when the tax return is due. By then it's too late to change how the year went.
Same year. Twelve chances to catch a problem instead of one.
What you hear from us, and when.
Here's what a normal month with us looks like.
Find out at tax time.
Know by the 10th, every month.
Statements come in, we ask about anything odd in one email, and your bookkeeper signs off by the 10th.
Reports you don't read.
A short note on what changed.
Your P&L and balance sheet, plus a few lines on what changed and why.
Check the bank balance and guess.
A note from your bookkeeper every Friday.
Cash, who owes you, what's due, and anything we need, every Friday.
Email and wait. Explain it all again.
Text the person who knows your books.
Snap a receipt or ask about a charge. The same person every month, back to you within one business day.

The fine print, up front.

Miss the 10th, that month is free.
If we have what we need from you by the 3rd and your books aren't closed by the 10th, you don't pay for that month.
-
Month to month.
Leave with 30 days' notice. Your price is locked for 12 months from the day you sign.
-
Your books stay in your name.
They live in your own accounts. If you ever leave, you keep everything, and nothing has to move.
-
Access by invite, never your bank login.
Your software invites us with our own login, which you can turn off anytime. Our bank access is read-only.
A few questions owners ask.
Don't see yours? Get in touch at hello@hellotenth.com. You'll hear back within one business day.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of the job: how many accounts you have, how much moves through them each month, and whether payroll, inventory or more than one entity is involved. After a look at your books, we quote a fixed monthly price.
I already have a bookkeeper. Why switch?
If you get your numbers by the 10th, understand them, and hear back within a business day, you may not need to. If not, we handle the switch. Your books stay in your name, so nothing has to move.
What software do you work with?
Whatever you use now, from QuickBooks or Xero to spreadsheets.
Do you do taxes?
We do the books, not the return. At year-end, your preparer gets a clean package to file from. Need a preparer? We can introduce you to one we trust.
